Two Russians plucked to safety from Ayia Napa sea caves

Two  Russians who became trapped because of stormy seas at the Ayia Napa sea caves were rescued by the fire service on Sunday.

The fire department said it had received a call at 16.41 to rescue two individuals who became trapped at the rocks. A rescue team was sent from the Famagusta Fire Station  who used a 35 foot ladder to lead the two individuals to safety. There were no injuries.
