“Tokio Restaurant Bar” was been one of the best restaurant entries in Limassol of this season. Every detail is attended with minimalistic and chic decor on both floors, which will remind you of a temple in Osaka and its magnificent gardens. And the food is impressive with authentic Japanese taste. The head chef is the well known Chrysanthos Chrysanthou. The Asian sous-chefs create everything from scratch with attention to detail, even the sauces which are made with the finest ingredients. This is the place to try authentic cuisine from Japan, some of which you have never seen in Cyprus. Among others, you can find: Gindara Kawalayaki, which is black cod braised on roof tiles with miso sauce, or Wagyu Houbayaki, which is wagyu beef fillet with sumiji mushrooms and lotus root, cooked on a small traditional Japanese grill and scented by Japanese leaf hoba. On the second floor, you can enjoy signature cocktails, especially created for Tokio by Costas Nikolaides, and there are also rooms ideal for private dinners. Finally, we recommend ordering some tea, which is served in a traditional ceremony and authentic Japanese tea set.
