The high pressure affecting the area is beginning to recede and there will be dust in the atmosphere at intervals from tonight through to Friday.
Tuesday will be mainly fine. Temperatures will be 23 C on the west coast, 18 C on the east coast, 19 C inland and the remaining coasts and 13 C in the mountains.
Tonight will become cloudy at internals and scattered light showers are expected later. Temperatures will fall to around 10 C inland, around 12 C on the south and north coasts, around 14 C on remaining coasts and 6 C in the mountains.
Wednesday will be mainly cloudy with rain in many areas and possible isolated thunderstorms. Snow is possible late on Wednesday night in the higher Troodos peaks. Temperatures will fall to average for the time of year.
Thursday and Friday will see intervals of sunshine and intervals of cloud and scattered showers or thunderstorms are forecast. Snow is possible in the higher mountain peaks. No significant change is expected in temperatures which will remain close to average for the time of year.
There is 48 cm of snow on Troodos Square.
