Russian driver in Paphos was ‘eight times over the limit’

A Russian driver stopped by police for an alco-test in Paphos on Monday night was found to  be driving with nearly eight times more the permitted alcohol levels.

Then 48 year old, who is a permanent Paphos resident, was stopped by police on Tomb of the Kings avenue. An initial breathalyser test rendered a reading of 160 mg, nearly eight times more the 22 mg permitted. When asked to undergo a second test, the Russian kicked up a disturbance and was arrested.
