Edited by

The Education Ministry is reported to be working on a dress code for teachers as part of the more general dialogue on school reforms.

According to Philenews the ministry has raised with teachers’ unions the issue of bermuda shorts worn by male teachers. The new measures are also expected to affect female teachers, particularly those wearing short skirts.

Philenews said that the Education Ministry will be issuing a circular to this effect in the next few days.
