Works to improve Kyriakos Matsis Avenue will soon get underway in the capital Nicosia.
According to Philenews this is the capital’s most important development project, which aims to upgrade the safety, functionality and aesthetics of this busy avenue.
This project, which has been high on the Nicosia Municipality’s priorities, aims to improve traffic flow and improve the safe movement of vehicles, pedestrians and people with disabilities.
The project also includes the complete redevelopment of Kyriakos Matsis Avenue from Samos – Spyros Lambros street to the north to the Presidential Palace roundabout to the south covering a total area of redevelopment of 13,500 sqm.
The construction project will cost 2.6 million euros and the construction works will conclude in 15 months’ time.
Part one of the project stretches from the roundabout to Mavrommatis street near the Junior School Nicosia.
