A 40 year old  man was sentenced to six months in jail on Tuesday after he was found guilty by Paphos district court of interfering with the judicial process.

The man was arrested last month after a court employee said a man had made repeated phone calls to the court house and asked to speak to a woman judge . He told the official he wanted to protest because the judge had asked his wife to leave her court room because she was improperly dressed and added that he would harm the judge because she had insulted his wife.

Police were able to track him down from mobile telephone and he was arrested and charged with intervening in court procedures,  threats and making nuisance and threatening phone calls.
