Nicosia flats on sale at €70,000

Few are the apartments that are sold at €50,000 in Nicosia neighbourhoods and its surrounding suburbs. Those available at the given price have been given to banks by owners seeking to write off their debts.

Owners or small construction companies have started handing over their keys, and as a result there is a large supply of one or two bedroom apartments available in Nicosia and around the capital. However, prices are over €70,000.

The number of apartments that were available under €50,000 a few months ago have ‘disappeared’, with apartments currently available being sold at a more expensive price. At the Bank of Cyprus Property Management Unit (REMU) there are no apartments available under €50,000. There are one bedroom apartments, on the first floor, in Engomi for sale at € 71,000. One-bedroom apartments on the second floor in Lakatamia are for sale at € 72,000.

One-bedroom apartments on the first floor of two-storey buildings in Latsia are sold at €73,500. One-bedroom apartments on the first floor of three-storey buildings in Ayios Dometios are at sold €75,000. Three-bedroom apartments on the first floor of a two-storey building in Engomi are sold at €77,500.

A studio apartment on the first floor of a block of flats in Strovolos is sold at €78,500. A one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a three-storey building in Lakatamia is sold for €80,500. A three-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a two-storey building in Engomi is sold for €81,000.

Studio apartments on the second floor of a block of flats in Strovolos is sold at €83,500, a one bedroom on the first floor of a three storey apartment building in Ayios Andreas is sold at €84,500 and a one bedroom apartment in a three storey building in Strovolos is sold for €86,000. A one-bedroom apartment in Engomi is sold for €89,000 and a three-bedroom apartment in Strovolos is sold at €90,000.

On the Hellenic Bank’s APS website there are some apartments whose price is under €50,000 and were given to the bank in order to write off debt. Specifically, a one-bedroom apartment is for sale in Aglantzia at a price of €43,200 and in the same area a one-bedroom apartment is being sold for €52,000.

In Kato Lakatamia a one-bedroom apartment is for sale at a price of € 46,900. Two bedroom apartments in Kaimakli are sold at € 58,800. There are also those that are more expensive but have more square metres. The Hellenic Bank has apartments for sale that are a little bit more expensive. A two-bedroom apartment in Strovolos are being sold at the price of €118,000 and two-bedroom apartments at €115,000. A three bedroom apartment in Strovolos is sold at the price of €130,000 and a three-bedroom apartment in Ayious Omologites at the price of €124,000.

Apartments are also available from Altamira and regards Co-operative Bank customers. There is an two bedroom apartment for sale in Nicosia for €105,000 and the next one on the list, a house in Aglantzia, has a selling price of €273.000. Most apartments available are outside the Nicosia District. In Paphos, a one-bedroom apartment is for sale at the price of €38,000, a two-bedroom apartment in Aradippou at €105,000 and two house in Pyla from €137,000.
