An unstable air mass is affecting the area.
On Friday there will be intervals of mainly fine weather and intervals of increased cloud while in the afternoon clouds that develop are expected to lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms inland, in the mountains and possibly on the south coast.
Temperatures will rise to 31 C inland, around 27 C on the north coast, around 29 C on the remaining coasts and around 21 C in the mountains.
Tonight there will be intervals of mainly fine weather and intervals of cloud. Temperatures will fall to 17 C inland and on the southwest coasts, around 19 C on the remaining coasts and around 11 C in the mountains.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday will start off mainly fine with increased local cloud. Clouds that form early in the afternoon are expected to lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms in the mountains, inland and possibly on the south and east coasts.
Temperatures are expected to remain at the same levels which inland and in the mountains are slightly above average for the time of year.
