Limassol: Police investigating attempted robbery at bakery

Limassol police are investigating an attempted robbery at knife point at a bakery on Sunday night.

Police said that at around 9 pm, a man with a covered face entered a bakery and threatened to the two women employees with a knife, demanding that thy open to till.

One of the two women employees initially refused to do so, saying there was no money, but he insisted. As he opened the till, the would be robber fled on foot without taking anything.

The man is described as slightly build, aged between 30 to 35 and 1.80 metres tall. He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit and black, woolen gloves.

Limassol police are also investigating an armed robbery at a kiosk in Limassol on Sunday night.
