Limassol district court on Wednesday remanded a 62 year old woman employee of the district office in custody for six days as police investigate a shortfall of €14,800, philenews reported.
The woman, who worked as a deputy cashier, allegedly pocketed money paid to the district office in cash which she did not record in the books.
According to police, the shortfall of €14,800 was created between March 1 and April 16, 2019.
