German oncology centre and government sign agreement

The government and the German Oncology Centre signed an agreement on Monday to offer services for cancer patients from Limassol and Paphos as of  June 18. The agreement is valid for one year, subject to renewal.

The agreement was signed by the Director of the Purchasing and Supply Directorate, Christos Nicolaou, and the Director of the German Oncology Center, Professor Nicolaos Zamboglu, in the presence of the President of Council of Oncology, Dr. Adamos Adamou, the President of National Cancer Committee, Stella Kyriakidou, and the President of German Oncology Centre, Kikis Kazamias.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Christina Giannaki, highlighted the importance of this project, stating that cancer patients from Paphos and Limassol will no longer have to make a long trip to Nicosia for treatment.
