The time at which a fire broke out in Galataria on Sunday evening, leaves no doubt that it was set deliberately, according to the fire service.
The fire department was called in around 7.30 pm after a fire broke out in the framing area near the village of Galataria in Paphos.
It was extinguished around 11 pm after burning 4 hectares of dry grass and wild vegetation. There was no danger to buildings or trees.
Fire department personnel remained on the spot over night to ensure the fire did not flare up again.
