The fire service responded to 24 calls for help in the past 24 hours, eight of which were due to the rain.
It said that in the period of 6 am on Monday to 6 am on Tuesday, it had responded to eight calls help — four in Limassol and four in Paphos.
In Limassol in two cases it helped remove fallen trees from public roads. The other two calls were due to flooding.
In Paphos, three of the four calls were for uprooted trees on public streets and the fourth for a tree that had fallen on a parked car.
