A new Lebanese restaurant has opened up in the capital. This new haunt takes its name from Feyrouz, a legendary Lebanese singer and important figure in the Arab culture. At Feyrouz you’ll try a range of oven-baked specialties from Lebanon and Armenia such as the traditional lahmajoun made with beef, freshly cut tomatoes and herbs. They also serve the popular delicacy in other versions, try the one with cheese and the Feyrouz with red onion and yogurt sauce. The menu also includes four different types of pizza, the traditional za’atar bread with olive oil, oregano and sesame, garlic bread, halloumi pie and chicken pie. They also serve falafel and classic salads such as tabbouleh and fattoush. For dessert try the Lebanese mahalepi or boureki with chocolate filling and fresh anari cheese.
