Eight beach wheel chairs for Paralimni

Paralimni Municipality has taken delivery of eight beach wheelchairs as well as another five for the Cape Greco Environmental Centre as is moves to increase services for the disabled.

The Cyprus News Agency said that the equipment was supplied within the framework of the Ermis ll — Tourism with no Obstacles for All, of the EU co-financed programme INTERREG V-A Greece-Cyprus 2020, in which Paralimni Municipality is a partner.

The beach wheelchairs will be made available with the start of the new summer season in 2019 so that people with disabilities will be able to move around the beach with safety.

The other five will be given to the Cape Greco Environmental Centre so that people can visit the park.
