Update: EAC’s IT systems back and running

A technical problem with the IT systems of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus has been repaired and customer service has been fully restored,  EAC spokeswoman Christina Papadopoulou told the Cyprus News Agency.

A technical problem around 11 am, affected its website and the EAC Mobile app while the citizen’s service centres and its hotline on 11800 and 1818 were operating at limited capacity.

The technical problem also affected the payment of bills which could only be made through the JCC web page and at EAC cashiers only on presentation of a copy of the bill.
