A 46-year-old man was arrested on early Saturday morning in Limassol, after he crashed into two parked cars and police found that he had been driving drunk.
Specifically, an alcohol test found that he had nine times over the legal limit of alcohol in his body.
According to police, the man was driving down Mytilinis Street in Limassol at 1.30am when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two parked cars.
Police arrived at the scene and conducted an alcohol test on the driver, which initially showed 97μg% instead of 9μg%.
At the police station a second alcotest was conducted on the man, which showed that he had been driving with 81 μg% instead of the allowed 9 μg%.
Police are continuing investigations.
