Parekklishia Community Beach – Blue Flag

Edited by

An abundantly sandy coast.

Located in the Lemesos (Limassol) district of Parekklishia, the 400-metre long Parekklishia Community Beach is one of the few beaches in the area that is abundantly sandy.

Its sands are complemented by seawaters that are clean and shallow, making it ideal for families with children, although the sea tends to get wavy in the afternoons.

Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers, sun beds, umbrellas, luxury sun beds, music and beach bars.

There are several beach tennis courts located near the parking area, which is also the beginning of the coastal footpath that links to other beaches. The beach is also popular for walking and jogging.

Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April – October, 09:00 – 17:00, and until 18:00 during the summer season.

Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car with car-parking facilities available.

The beach also offers disabled access.
