Young Brits choose Napa to party (VIDEO)

Ayia Napa is set to take over as the most popular holiday destination for young Brits as it threatens the major holiday resort of Magaluf on the Spanish island of Majorca, according to the UK’s Daily Star.

Hosting ‘The Beach Cult Live Festival’, dubbed as the biggest beach party in Europe with 5,000 revellers on the popular beach of Makronissos, incredible pool bashes and a “crazy” nightlife and not to mention the ‘legendary’ Carnage bar crawl (A €30 12-hour long bar crawl offering free drinks and naughty party games) are just some of the reasons that make Ayia Napa so popular.

The Beach Cult Live Festival organisers have secured chart topper David for a series of open-air beach sets on June 19, July 17 and August 14, as part of the programme of big name DJs playing at the festival on a weekly basis until August.

The other celebrity DJs in the line-up are Chase & Status (UK) with MC Rage (USA) on June 26, July 24 and August 7, whilst Sigala (UK) will play on July 10. Jax Jones (UK) will also perform.

Speaking to the Daily Star Online, Mia Harper of Party Hard Travel said that bookings for Ayia Napa have increased.

“Ayia Napa has quickly become a destination to visit due to its crazy nightlife. Expect the biggest parties on rotating dance floors, clubs with indoor pools and after parties,” she said.

Just last month footage emerged of women stripping off and dancing naked in a nightclub while the pool parties are also huge crowd pullers.

“The best pool party in Ayia Napa is located at the Pambos Napa Rocks Hotel. A huge crystal clear pool, a large deck for sun bathing, partying, 1 hour free bar and of course room for huge DJ’s to perform,” said Harper.

But it isn’t all about the parties as Ayia Napa offers an opportunity for sight-seeing including the legendary sculpture in the town square and some of the finest beaches on the island.

“For the clearest waters and the sandiest shores, Nissi beach is everything you dream of when it comes to being on holiday. It’s so clear and so clean that it has been awarded blue flag designation,” added Harper.

Although the increase of tourism is always welcome, local authorities would hardly want similar scenes witnessed in Magaluf last month where women were filmed walking around the resort’s streets in their slips and England and Scotland fans were filmed fighting and throwing chairs at each other after a football match.

  1. Looks like an invasion of the low life’s from the Uk! Not a nice picture to promote holidays in Ayia Napa . As long as you stay away from the square and the bars your ok . But when they get totally smashed , and wander around throwing up l you’d better run .
