Yermasoyia burglars make off with €96k

Limassol police are investigating the theft of gold jewellery, electronic devices and cash worth a total of €96,000 from a Yermasoyia apartment.

According to the police, they were alerted by another resident of the building who spotted two men they did not recognise leaving the apartment building with two travelling cases and driving off on a motorcycle on Thursday.

According to reports, the flat, being used by an Iranian woman who was away at the time of the break-in, did not have a burglar alarm fitted. The stolen items were not insured.
