Witnesses asked to come forward after Nicosia hit and run

Nicosia Traffic Police have asked anyone with information on a hit and run in Aglandjia on Saturday afternoon to come forward.

Speaking to the Cyprus Weekly, a police spokesman said a 13-year-old boy suffered head and arm injuries and will be kept in Nicosia General Hospital overnight for precautionary reasons after being hit by a white truck. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The hit and run occurred at around 12.45pm on Egnatias Street in Aglandjia.
