In this charming romantic comedy, Daniel Radcliffe plays Wallace, a medical school dropout who’s been burned by bad relationships. When he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan) an animator who lives with her longtime boyfriend Ben (Rafe Spall), they agree to just stay friends… but is that ever really possible?
When Harry Met Sally for the Harry Potter generation, this is one of those smart little movies that comes along and reminds you how good romcom can be. Not only is it funny, observational and sweet… without being saccharine, but Radcliffe and Kazan prove themselves endearing leads, making this an honestly played, honestly told, honestly good, movie.
A timeless modern romance. I liked it. Very much.
