An 18-year-old injured in a traffic incident in Larnaca on Wednesday found himself in hot water after police discovered cannabis, amphetamines and a scale in a pouch belonging to him.
According to Larnaca police, the 18-year-old was injured when the motorbike he was travelling on with a Romanian minor, crashed into a car driven by a 24-year-old in Larnaca.

The 18-year-old was taken to the Larnaca General Hospital for treatment while the minor who was not hurt remained at the scene of the crash.
When the police arrived on the scene he handed them the pouch claiming that it was the 18-year-olds.
The pouch contained 21grams of cannabis, 2.2 grams of amphetamines and a scale.
The 18-year-old under questioning admitted that the drugs were his.
The Larnaca drug squad and traffic department are continuing their investigations.
