Tourists injured in Paphos quad bike crash

Two people have ended up in hospital in Paphos after being injured in a quad bike crash on Monday.

The two victims – said to be tourists from Jordan – suffered various injuries when the quad bike they were on overturned on the Kathikas-Peyia road. According to traffic police, one of the men driving the bike lost control resulting in the vehicle crashing into the side-railing and then overturning.

The two men, who both suffered broken legs, were rushed by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital where they remain under observation.

Doctors have described their condition as serious but stable.
