Three arrested over Limassol shooting

Police in Limassol are looking into a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning against the homes of two men.

Shots had been fired at the homes of two men – said to be a 43-year-old and a 49-year-old – who live in Limassol. Three men, said by police to 21, 28 and 29, have been arrested and taken in for questioning.

The houses are situated next to each other. One of the bullets struck the entrance door of the 43-year-old’s home – piercing it and causing damage to the interior of his house walls.

Witnesses recall seeing two men with their faces covered firing shots into the house. It is believed that the neighbouring house was shot accidentally.
