The Hundred-Year-Old Man

The Friends of Cinema Society is screening a comedy/adventure about a 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, as part of their Cine Studio weekly film series.

Based on the internationally best-selling novel by Jonas Jonasson, this 2013 film is an unlikely story of a 100-year-old Allan Karlsson who decides it’s not too late to start over.

He embarks on an unexpected journey involving several murders and a suitcase full of cash. Soon he has turned the whole nation on its head. He does have some experience in these matters since he has previously done the same thing with the entire world.
