The Bahrain International Property Exhibition 2017 to attract top regional and local investors from the Gulf region in its 10th edition

The Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX) will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister. Bipex 2017 will open its doors during the period from 26th-28th October.

This year’s exhibition will include companies from Cyprus and Greece that will showcase mediterranean luxury properties and to educate the public on investment opportunities in the region. Visitors from Bahrain and Saudi  travel to Cyprus and other mediterranean destinations especially in the peak summer season. There is a demand from the Middle East to invest in mediterranean hotspots and Bipex would like to create a shorter link between leading real estate exhibitors that can showcase these properties and educate attendees and investors on the benefits of investment.

Bipex’s audience include high profile investors from the Gulf region. The closest and most important market is Saudi Arabia, especially the Eastern province. Several Saudi investors take part in huge projects in Bahrain such as Amwaj Islands, Durrat Al Bahrain and Al Areen. The 2016 edition of the event attracted  more than 8,000 unique visitors, 24% of which were from outside Bahrain including significant B2B traffic. Over 3 days, and a total of 40 exhibitors showcased real estate assets worth US $20 billion. Over the three-day period, a total of 40 exhibitors showcased the real estate assets worth $20 billion in 2016.

This year, Bipex has developed an innovative marketing and public relations campaign for its 2017 exhibition valued at approx. One millions US dollars. The campaign includes traditional print and outdoor advertising, but also leverages social media platforms, web-based ads and for the first time uses TV advertising. Bipex announced a partnership with OSN (Orbit-Showtime Network) for its 2017 exhibition that will target real-estate investors and purchasers across the GCC and the region. In addition, Bipex creates a targeted marketing campaign to promote its exhibitors and their  participation prior to and during the event which will generate solid leads and further expand their network

The Bipex forum which is part of the exhibition agenda each year will feature industry specialists, analysts and business leaders in Bahrain to contribute to its deliberations through a free flow of information and ideas. Bipex aims to facilitate interactive dialogue amongst all stakeholders of the real estate, tourism and hospitality industries in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and hopes that this event will enable them to examine regional and global developments in the field.

Bipex 2017 continues until October 28th to offer a golden opportunity for investors, development companies, financial institutions, legal institutions and consumers preview projects, reach consumers and discuss and make decisions in an open environment. Bipex is one of its successful non-profit annual events which was first launched in 2004 and has now come to occupy a premier position in the real estate and property exhibition event calendar.
