A 40-year-old Greek national suspected of being involved in human trafficking will be extradited to Greece following his arrest in Paphos on Tuesday.
Appearing before the Paphos District Court on Wednesday, the suspect did not object to his extradition.

The Court ruled that he be detained until he is handed over to the Greek authorities which are expected to arrive on the island in the next few days.
The 40-year-old was arrested after he had requested a certificate of good conduct (criminal record certificate) from the Paphos police headquarters.
Police subsequently discovered that there was an outstanding European arrest warrant for human trafficking charges against him dating from July 31, 2007 and proceeded to arrest him
