The menu at Alati keeps making a stronger impression year after year. This time, there are about 15 new dishes and a new cocktail list. On the appetizer side of things, we recommend the risotto with mushrooms and truffle oil dressing or the tuna fish tartar with chopped cilantro and aged balsamic. On the main dishes, we like the addition of the juicy tuna burger, the yellow fin tuna fillet with a sweet-smelling crust and served with baby potatoes, the pork in Commandaria wine with potatoes and saffron, salad with black eyed peas, marinated octopus legs, fresh squid and vegetable, and of course the dish of the day. On the drink side of things, the new wine list with 90 labels from all around the world is worth glancing over, offering all kinds from the Cypriot Xynisteri to the German Riesling. And that’s not all. This year at Alati, you can try new cocktails brought to life by bartender Vangelis Spetzouras, such as Passion Spring, Skin Therapy (Skinos), Banana Crème Brûlée, Coconut Ginger Margarita and Coconut Banana Daiquiri. Keep in mind this year brunch is also served between 11am and 1pm. The Alati “carte du jour” this summer also offers a few extras, such as concerts and DJ performances on Fridays and Saturdays.
