Police in Paralimni say a Russian woman has died after being pulled unconscious out of the sea in the area of Kapparis on Sunday afternoon.
The victim, said to be a 57-year-old Russian woman who had been on holiday in Cyprus, was spotted unconscious in the sea in the area of Malama in Kapparis.

She was rushed to Paralimni General Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. No external injuries were found with investigators so far ruling out foul play.
An autopsy was set to take place on Monday at Larnaca General Hospital to determine the exact cause of death.
Police in Paralimni are still investigating.
