Rangers and AEL on course for Europa League clash

Rangers are almost certain to be heading to Cyprus in the Europa League second round if they complete the job against Progres Niederkorn from Luxembourg next week.

They face the winners of the match between AEL Limassol and Gibraltar’s St Joseph’s.

AEL is in command after a 4-0 win away in Faro on Thursday in the first game of the first qualifying round while the two teams are set to meet for the second leg game at Limassol’s Tsirio Stadium on July 6

Mikel Arruabarrena, Aly Savane and a Kevin Pierre Lafrance double gave the Limassol team a handsome first-leg lead.
