Limassol quarry night watchman dies at work

The body of a night watchman has been found at the Skyra-Vasa quarry in Limassol, with media reports suggesting he might have died from sudden death syndrome.

The security guard, a 63-year-old Bulgarian national, was working at the quarry in Monagroulli, a village in the Limassol District.

His body was discovered by co-workers when they arrived at their workplace on Friday morning around at 7:45am.

Authorities are currently not investigating a crime in connection to the man’s death.
