Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades on Tuesday received in Washington DC a delegation from ExxonMobil headed by its Chief Executive Officer Darren Woods.
The talks focused on the implementation progress of the energy plans agreed between the Republic of Cyprus and the US energy giant, according to an official announcement.
“Issues related to regional energy developments were also discussed,” it added.
Taking part in the meeting were Foreign Affairs Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Energy Minister George Lakkotripis, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides and the ambassador of Cyprus in Washington.
Anastasiades is on a working visit to the American capital.
