Police are searching for a woman suspected of pocketing thousands of euro by impersonating a real estate agent and ‘renting out’ Limassol properties that were not actually available.
According to the police, the 46-year-old managed people, mainly students and young couples, who thought they were putting down deposits to rent property.

When attempting to contact the woman to confirm when they would be able to move in she was nowhere to be found while subsequent investigations uncovered that the properties were not even available to rent.
Four of the victims have gone to the police but the authorities believe more people also have been duped and that the woman has made off with as much as €10,000.
