Police probing Limassol car arson attack

Limassol police are investigating an apparent arson attack that caused severe damage to two cars in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to the police, an explosion was heard at around 2.25am, soon after which a 55-year-old man realised the cars, both of which were his, were ablaze.

The two vehicles were in the parking area of the block of flats where the man lived.

The cost of the damage to the cars had yet to be calculated.

Limassol CID is investigating.
