Petros’ War

Stage 018 of THOC presents the play ‘Petros’ War’ based on the homonymous novel of Alki Zei directed by Takis Tzamargias.

The play tells the story of Petros, a nine year old boy who is woken up abruptly one morning by his mother saying “Wake up and get ready.

There is war!” Petros knows about war from his books. He is thrilled by heroes, shields, swords and victories, but is it the same in reality? Audiences will follow young Petros and his family in their adventures between October 1940 and October 1944, when Greece was liberated.

Performances are in Greek, and take place every Sunday at 10.30am until April 9. For more information call 77772717.
