President Nicos Anastasiades will be accompanied by the heads of the parliamentary parties to Crans-Montana, Switzerland for the upcoming Conference on Cyprus II.
The announcement was made at on Monday following a meeting of the National Council by the Deputy Government Spokesman Victor Papadopoulos.
Papadopoulos informed reporters that the parties had informed the President of their positions in light of the talks and had accepted his invitation to accompany him to the negotiations.
“The President has listened to and noted the positions of all the parties and that is why he has extended an invitation for them to accompany him to the Switzerland,” said Papadopoulos
“Cyprus’ energy programme will continue as normal and will be executed to the final iota,” said Papadopoulos with regards to a political head who is expressed on Monday that it was a matter for the companies involved to decide.
“Some people should be careful about saying things that do not correspond to reality,” said Papadopoulos “President Anastasiades has never said that it is a matter for the companies.”
