Paphos swimmer robbed of €4,000

A man’s decision to leave over €4,000 in his locked car while going for a swim in the sea near Timi, Paphos proved to be a costly mistake.

He returned to find his car broken into and the money—€4,090 in cash—gone.

The man made the complaint to the police just before midnight Wednesday, after discovering the money was gone after his evening swim.

Investigations are underway.
