Paphos man reported missing after going fishing

Veteran actor and director, 83-year-old Nicos Siafkalis has been reported missing after going out fishing on Sunday morning.

According to police reports, Siafkalis went fishing between Latsi and the Baths of Aphrodite area near Polis Chrysochous, Paphos at around 7 am on Sunday morning.

It is not known if the man went rod or spear gun fishing as he reportedly uses both methods.

The 83-year-old’s car has been located in which his mobile telephone and other personal objects were found.

Police, Latsi harbour police as well as friends and family are searching both inland along the coast and the sea for any sign of Siafkalis.
