A warrant has been issued for the 20-year-old’s arrest.
Police are searching for a 20-year-old drug user suspected of being the person behind an arson attack that saw five Molotov cocktails thrown at a Paphos chemist’s car.
The 20-year-old became the number one suspect after threatening the pharmacist after he on Tuesday refused to give him a narcotics substitute without a prescription.
The makeshift bombs were thrown at the chemist’s double cab pickup truck early on Wednesday morning, as it was parked outside the pharmacy, which is situated in the centre of town.
The five Molotov cocktails were thrown into the back of the pickup truck but the resulting fire soon spread and caused extensive damage to the entire vehicle.
