Palinuro ship seals Cyprus-Italian military ties

The docking of the Italian Navy Sailing Ship “Palinuro” at Larnaca is a testament to the close military ties between Cyprus and Italy according to Defence Minister Christoforos Fokaides.

The ‘Palinuro’ docked at Larnaca port on Monday morning during its 3rd Chief Petty Officer training course for the cadets of the Italy’s Taranto Naval Academy and comes on the heels of a visit by the Italian Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti to the island at the end of July.
