Nicosia set to host trilateral health summit

The first trilateral summit on health between Cyprus, Greece and Israel is set to take place in Nicosia on Tuesday and will see the Health Ministers of all three three respective countries in attendance.

Health Minister George Pamboridis and his Greek and Israeli counterparts, Andreas Xanthos and Yakov Litzman, respectively are set to meet with President Nicos Anasasiades at 12pm on Tuesday.

At 12.15pm a bilateral meeting between Pamboridis and Litzman is set to take place where the two ministers are scheduled to sign an agreement of cooperation within the framework of the Cyprus-Israel Joint Programme in a Kidney Transplantation Exchange Scheme.

At 12.45pm, Pamboridis will meet with Xanthos, followed by a meeting between Xanthos and Litzman at 1pm.

The three men will then meet at 1.15pm-1.45pm where a joint declaration of intent will be signed. Subsequently the ministers will address the media before retiring to a luncheon.

The Israeli delegation is expected to tour the Nicosia General hospital between 3.45pm and 4.45pm.
