Paphos District Labour Office has become the target of a new arson attack, just 24 hours after two public buildings in the town were targeted in similar fashion.
According to police, smoke was spotted rising from the building of the Paphos District Labour Office at 3am on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the arsonist or arsonists broke a window and laced the building with flammable materials. The Fire Service was alerted when smoke was seen rising from the building.
A 38-year-old Paphos man, a former municipal employee, was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to two other arson attacks on public buildings in the town, the Town Hall and the Social Insurance Services Office.
