Motorcyclist killed in Limassol accident

A 30-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday morning after a car collided with her bike in Polemidia, Limassol.

The accident happened at around 10am and, by Sunday afternoon, it remained unclear whether the motorcyclist, Eftychia Kleomeni, had been wearing a crash helmet.

The 79-year-old driver of the car involved in the accident was taken to hospital.

Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are continuing although media reports claim that the man’s car had cut off Eftychia’s motorcycle.
