Man falls off roof into Ayia Napa square

A 26-year-old man from Pakistan is being treated in the Paralimni General Hospital with head injuries after falling off a roof and landing unconscious in Ayia Napa square.

His condition has been described as serious. The man was taken to the hospital in a comatose condition and is currently in intensive care.

Famagusta CID police, who arrived at the scene where the man was found in the Ayia Napa Square, determined that he had fallen from a corrugated iron roof on one of the buildings in the area.

The exact causes of the accident will be determined by a state pathologist and Labour Inspectors.
