In order to erase all dividing lines – imaginary, conceivable and real – and to bring together LGBT people from all communities around Cyprus, ACCEPT – LGBT Cyprus in cooperation with Home for Cooperation (H4C) is organising a special evening with live music on April 20.
What: Live Music Event “I WANT to BREAK FREE”
When: Thursday, April 20
Where: Home for Cooperation, 28, Markou Drakou Street, Nicosia (in the UN Buffer Zone, next to Ledra Palace Hotel).
Taking place in the symbolic Home for Cooperation, six excellent musicians who live and work on the island will play their favourite sounds and melodies, taking the audience on a musical journey to a place where there are no borders and no prejudices.
The musicians who will perform on the night include Niyal Ozturk and her band, playing their unique funky, blues, pop, alternative, soul, soft-rock and jazz oriented music. The band will be joined by Athena Mavronihi and musician Nikos Papadopoulos who will entertain the audience with their rock and pop music sounds.
The aim of the music and the event is to remind us that we should never stop dreaming of a world ruled by love, acceptance and solidarity.
The music will start at 8pm on April 20. For more information call 99812343.
