La Forchetta

A city can never have too many Italian restaurants. However, it is not very often that you can find an authentic one. Whenever fresh ingredients are used, cooking methods are purely Italian. This is exactly what you will find when you go to La Forchetta, in Limassol, located inside a beautifully restored house, with many rooms and a central yard in the middle.

The chefs are from Napoli so it would make sense that they would serve dishes of southern Italy. Pizzas are a specialty, cooked in a traditional wooden oven. Same goes for the bruschettas and the focaccias.

When it comes to pasta dishes, the pasta is freshly made of course and sauces are made with authentic Italian ingredients. That being said, there are also quite a few creative ideas.

You will start your dinner with Antipasto Misto, a selection of starters, you will continue with main dishes such as a Tagliata di Manzo (beef, rocula and parmesan), Parmigiana di Melanzane (parmesan with aubergines), a mushroom risotto, prawns with sambuca, handmade ravioli and many meat and fish dishes.

You will end your meal with classic Italian desserts, such as a torte caprese and panna cotta. The wine list has a good variety of Italian labels.

Closed on Sundays.
