Italian Defence Minister in Cyprus on Tuesday

Italian Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti  is flying to Cyprus on Tuesday for an official visit at the invitation of her Cypriot counterpart Christoforos Fokaides.

The two ministers will sign an agreement providing for the exchange of and mutual protection of classified information, according to an announcement by the Defence Ministry in Nicosia.

Pinotti will be officially welcomed by Fokaides and discussions between delegations of the two countries will follow.

During her visit, the Italian Minister will also be received by Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades.
