House President Demetris Syllouris on Monday met with Ambassadors of Cuba and of Germany, Aramis Fuente Hernandez and Franz Josef Kremp, respectively.
With Cuba’s envoy, he exchanged views on the devastation caused in Cuba by cyclone Irma. And with the German ambassador Syllouris discussed issues related to political developments in the EU and the Middle East.
Syllouris referred to the excellent cooperation between Cyprus and Cuba, especially in the framework of international parliamentary organisations, where both countries are represented.
During the meeting with the German envoy, reference was made to the friendly relationship between Nicosia and Berlin.
And they both expressed the will to further enhance cooperation on all levels, especially on the parliamentary level.
Syllouris and Kremp also exchanged views on the prospect of enhancing cooperation between the two countries on the commercial and tourist level, as well as political developments in the two countries.
